6 Communication Issues Unified Communications Can Solve

If you look through enough articles, you'll likely run across a few that focus on communications problems in the workplace. Having found such articles on my own, I thought, how can these communication issues be addressed with UCaaS (Unified Communication as a Service)?

UCaaS is a service, but it’s also a technology and a communication philosophy. Essentially, it's a way to turn all the ways you communicate at work into a unified stream that you can access in a variety of ways. That means you can get all your email, voicemail, instant messages, notifications and more on any device. Here’s how UCaaS tackles some of the toughest business communication issues.

1. Failure to Listen

How many times have you misunderstood a message because you weren't focused or listening? With UCaaS, you can reference any and all of your communcations streams, giving you more ways to listen to and communicate with coworkers and customers. In addition, UCaaS gives you video integration for your meetings with remote team members - which ensures you have everyone's attention during the meeting.

More and more work occurs in multiple locations such as satellite offices, coffee shops, hotel rooms, airports and homes. UCaaS makes communication easy regardless of location by making all applications available on any device, from any location. With UCaaS, you can join the office, the fieldworker, the traveling salesperson and the client all on one multi-media conference.

3. Cultural differences

While it won’t bridge all cultural differences, making communications device-neutral allows employees to accommodate their preferences.
